Cooling System

Every motor vehicles will undergo a process of combustion. Fuel combustion in the cylinder produce a high thermal, if not done the cooling, the temperature of the primarily parts of the cylinder will rise. Therefore, required a cooling system. Cooling in an engine an important role to keep temperature at machine the power generated to remain stabilized. An the machine, a cooling system can be divided into two, namely with air cooling and water cooling systems.

a. Water cooling system
In the system a fluid used to reduce hot and the necessary parts. Through a chamber, water is to flow around the cylinder walls, cylinder head, and valves. So heat would absorbed the water and taken to the radiators through the return conduit to cool with the air.
b. Air Cooling System
This system is usually known as direct cooling, because heat is removed directly met by the air without going through the intermediary water. To reduce the heat high then the system uses fins surrounding cylinder block. Manufacture of cylinder is aimed at to expand the contact the surface with air, so as to accelerate distribution of air.
Of supporting components cooling system:
• Radiator
Its function is to lower the temperature cooling of fluid that has been a hot after passing through mantle water .
• Thermostats
Thermostat is a kind of valve which opens and close automatically according to cooling temperature. Function is to accelerate engine working temperature. Thermostat posted on channel to mantle the radiator of water between a radiator and engine cooling.
